Brian E. Murray
SENIOR COUNSEL
Brian E. Murray has more than 30 years of experience in real estate and commercial mortgage finance. Brian has focused his practice on representing institutional lenders in commercial mortgage loans secured by multifamily, mixed-use and commercial properties as well as asset-based commercial loans. Throughout his career, Brian has also assisted his bank clients in navigating regulatory changes, mergers and acquisitions, and complex leasing matters. Brian has also represented a number of not-for-profit organizations in the leasing, purchase, sale and financing of real property. Prior to joining Chaves Perlowitz Luftig LLP, Brian was a partner for more than 20 years in the Banking and Financial Services Department at a mid-sized regional law firm based on Long Island.
Brian received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.S.B.A. in finance from Georgetown University.
Brian lives in Nassau County with his wife and enjoys reading, theatre and film, travel and spending time with his three adult children.
