Katherine grew up in New York City and attended Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she studied history and political science. After graduating from Loyola University, Katherine attended New York Law School where she obtained her J.D.
Prior to joining Chaves Perlowitz Luftig, Katherine spent several years at a premier high-volume law firm where she advised clients on a wide range of real estate matters.
In her free moments, Katherine enjoys flyfishing and architectural history. She lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Experience
- Katherine is an associate attorney in the firm’s residential Real Estate practice group. She focuses primarily in the area of real property law. Katherine represents clients on purchases and sales of condominium and cooperative units and houses throughout New York. Katherine also represents clients on commercial leasing, entity restructuring, and reverse & build-to-suit 1031 exchanges. Katherine’s past clients include institutional and bridge lenders in mortgage transactions, involving commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties. Her diverse experience in the residential and commercial sectors allows her to advise clients on nuanced issues.
